|

Two individuals were recently arrested for an alleged bar fight in Mount Olive, New Jersey that is said to have carried on even during the arrest process. According to the Daily Record, officers received a report about a fight that was going on in the parking lot of a local bar. The officers reported that when they arrived, they found a man in the parking lot who they believed to be very intoxicated. They also located a woman who was said to be the other party in the alleged fight. As the man was being placed in the back of a marked police car, the fight reportedly continued. According to the article, the woman tried to punch the man's head multiple times. This is where the incident escalated, as the woman allegedly ended up making contact with the officer, subsequently causing damage to recording equipment. She also allegedly resisted arrest.

As a result of the incident, the woman ended up being charged with a number of different offenses—aggravated assault, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She was taken to Morris County Correctional Facility, where she was held on $30,000 bail. The man ended up only being charged with disorderly conduct.
